We are desirous of operating an airplane service
between Hong Kong and Loiwing, Yunnan Province, China, for
the sole purpose of facilitating the transportation of
factory equipment, materials and personnel to our airplane
factory located at Loiwing near the border of Burma.
This service would be limited entirely to the
transportation of persons employed by this company or the
factory and materials belonging to this company for use at
the factory. No passengers or materials would be accepted
for transport from the general public.
At the present time the sending of materials to
our factory necessitates shipping by steamer from Hong Kong
to Rangoon, by lighters from Rangoon to Bahmo and by motor
truck from Bahmo to Loiwing a method which takes more
than a month; whereas by airplane from Hong Kong the
journey would take only one day.
We propose to use a Curtiss-Wright Condor
Transport plane owned by this Company. This plane is now
in the United States ready to be shipped to Hong Kong.
your information we attach herewith description and
Commander G.F. Hole,
Harbor Master,
HONG KONG.
